My Experience

Most of my copywriting experience comes from writing for the B2B sector, where I have developed a diverse portfolio of work.

I wrote for various headless CMS platform providers where I have written blog posts and whitepapers. I have also written in-depth course for a digital marketing training provider.

Most recently, I have worked for an established import company based in Trafford Park, Manchester (UK) that supplies automotive, leisure and garden accessories to leading national and independent brands.

Currently, I work at an award-winning inbound marketing agency where I am the Senior Copywriter and I create content campaign for various tech brands.

At the moment, I am not open to freelancing. I have created this to simply share

My Story - How I Became a Copywriter

I always liked writing from an early age, but I never imagined that I would forge a career out of it.

I thought I wanted to go into the science field - I actually have a BSc degree in Biological Chemistry - but after finishing my science degree in 2009, I wanted to widen my options and so I decided to complete a MSc in Business.

After graduating with my MSc, I managed to land my first job at the same university where I got my MSc degree. But it was nothing fancy, I worked as an administrator. Admittedly, I didn’t like that job and while working there, I applied to hundreds of graduate jobs but to no avail.

I was in that job for 3 years. I was frustrated to say the least, but to help me channel my frustration, I rekindled my joy of writing and began to explore career paths relating to the art of writing, and that’s when I came across copywriting.

During my spare time, I absorbed as much information as I could on copywriting, and began freelancing on the side. When I felt ready, I left my job at the university. And rest is history.
